Jumeirah Piano Studio is the vision of Electra Karanasiu — a space created not as a commercial venture, but as a deeply personal expression of a lifelong devotion to culture, discovery, and artistic heritage.
Inspired by the great European music tradition, Jumeirah Piano Studio is a distinguished private music salon where artistry, culture, and a love of music are cultivated with intention, refinement, and care.
Every studio has a heart. Ours is a piano with a life story that spans decades and continents — a gift, a separation, and a long-awaited reunion.
Purchased in Madrid in 1996 from Real Musical, this Kingsburg SP 1649 was originally a gift from the mother of one of the studio’s founders. After many years and a journey across the sea, it found its new home in Al Wasl — where today it forms the heart of Jumeirah Piano Studio.
Every detail — from the Isabeline armchairs to the daylight through the trees of Safa Park — has been considered to create a room that welcomes stillness, thought, and music.
Classic Isabeline armchairs and carefully curated furnishings create a refined, boutique atmosphere.
A timeless backdrop that inspires ideas, reflection, and intellectual exchange.
A beautiful Kingsburg upright piano adds warmth, character, and artistic inspiration to the space.
Overlooking the mature trees of Safa Park, the studio offers a rare connection with nature in the heart of Dubai.
Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the salon with soft daylight, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day.
Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to create an elegant, intimate setting where people feel inspired, comfortable, and at ease.

Graciela's lifelong dedication to music was shaped by a classical education in Cuba and years of experience as both a musician and educator — from the National School of Music in Havana to the concert stage, India, and Dubai.
Four ideas that shape every lesson at Jumeirah Piano Studio — the quiet backbone of how we teach, and how we build a relationship with each student who crosses the door.
Every student has a unique musical identity. We encourage self-awareness, honesty and confidence — helping students develop their own relationship with music and discover their individual voice.
Music is both a craft and an art. Through strong technical foundations, musical understanding and thoughtful interpretation, students learn to bring meaning, character and beauty to the music they perform.
Music is part of a rich cultural heritage that connects people across generations, traditions and places. We encourage students to appreciate the history, context and human stories that give music its enduring significance.
Learning begins with wonder. We encourage students to listen deeply, ask questions, explore new ideas and approach music with an open mind — cultivating a lifelong desire to learn and discover.
While the Kingsburg is our centrepiece, the studio also welcomes students of voice, flute, guitar and castanets — taught with the same editorial care.
The soul of the studio. Taught on the Kingsburg SP 1649 — a piano with history, offered as an instrument on which to build one.
Breath, tone, phrasing and expressive control — the singer's craft, developed with patience.
Air, articulation, tonal colour and phrasing shaped through a classical foundation.
Technique, repertoire and rhythmic fluency for the classical and acoustic student.
Precision, character and the Spanish tradition — rhythm as expression, in its purest form.
A clear, progressive pathway in seven stages — guided by ongoing assessment and personal attention, so every student grows in technique, confidence and a lasting relationship with music.
